Rush Street Interactive (RSI), the company known for its popular BetRivers platform, has joined forces with Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) to introduce a new initiative aimed at educating high school students about responsible gambling practices. The program, named Gaming Literacy Aiding Decisions (GLAD), is designed to help teenagers understand the world of gambling and learn how to participate responsibly in the rapidly growing industry.

Despite US federal laws stipulating that the legal gambling age is 21, RSI CEO Richard Schwartz has acknowledged the rising issue of underage gambling. The GLAD program is set to kick off in Delaware, where BetRivers holds an exclusive agreement as the sole legal gambling operator, as well as in New Jersey. Delaware authorities have been cracking down on unlicensed gambling operators who often fail to conduct proper age verification checks, allowing underage individuals to participate. Recently, the state issued a cease-and-desist order to Virtual Gaming Worlds (VGW), prompting the sweepstakes casino to cease operations.
